Essay originally written for Anatomy: Ten Years of Slaughter -- an illustrated anthology on the first ten years of work from the acclaimed Belgian theatre company, Abattoir Fermé. I first saw their work in 2008 by accident after I visited KC NONA in Mechelen, Belgium for a meeting about my own upcoming project W.M.D. (just the low points) -- that premiered in Belgium the following year.
